Efforts to render the current ceasefire successful are urgently needed and would be a step towards a political solution and peace in Syria. The Kurdish National Council encourages all parties to comply the cessation of hostilities and emphasises that it is essential to urge for an expansion of the truce areas as well as to find stability solutions for all Syrian areas including the Kurdish Region.
