In its last meeting on Thursday, March 31, the Syrian National Coalition’s Political Commission confirmed its position that Asaad Al-Zoubi should be excluded from the negotiation delegation to the Geneva III talks due to his statements on Kurdish people. The same political body stressed the need to further develop the coordination mechanisms with the Kurdish National Council in Syria. Additionally, it was recommended that the Coalition’s representatives in the HNC comply with the agreement which was obtained between the Kurdish National Council and the Coalition in 2013.
